The Shield Deluxe

The Shield Deluxe is distributed by PC Security Shield, a company based in south Forida.  They have an agreement with Kaspersky Lab to use the Kaspersky Antivirus engine and re-package it into a very similar software package and sell it under their own brand name. So basically it is just another way to buy Kaspersky Antivirus software.  PC Security Shield provides their own support for the product.  In an effort to distinguish themselves from other vendors, they offer free telephone support for The Shield Deluxe. 

Most other antivirus software companies charge extra fees for telephone support.  Online chat is the medium most companies use to provide support, and there are usually long delays in this type of support because the operators are answering questions from several different customers at once.  PC Security Shield has decided to offer free telephone support as a selling point for their software.  Many people will be attracted to that feature.
